Holds my 24" dells up perfectly would recommend.

This product, the 130 1x3, is very well made, easy enough to set up and is adjustable in almost every way. The only thing I would like to see is a way to adjust the forward-back spacing, especially for the top monitor. Because of the nature of my top LED monitor I have to angle it down towards my eyes, this means the bottom bezel of the top monitor does not align with the top bezel of the bottom monitor. I'm going to solve this by finding some plastic spacers from my local hardware store and trim them to size.

Highly recommended! it will bear a lot of weight (holds the 27 inch iMac beautifully) and I imagine stability is the reason it is locked down. Recommended.

This stand definitely lives up to the reviews; its craftsmanship is sturdy, and the design seems solid. Its always a little nerve racking mounting a very expensive cintiq (I have the 22hd) on anything other than what was built specifically to hold it. In the end, however, I forget that I ever used anything else. It feels extremely natural to pull the screen down to your lap and work on it at any angle you feel like. I was amazed to find that it held my desired angle even when I was drawing on it (which is the whole point of course).There were two disappointments that I had with the device. The first is that the instructions came somewhat shredded. Almost in a comical fashion. I basically have the outside borders and the middle has been ripped out. Its not floating around in the box somewhere either. Its just gone. Now, this isn't a particularly complicated device and moreover the directions can probably be found online somewhere, it was just annoying. The second problem I'm having is that it wont keep the monitor more than about two inches off the desk. This cintiq is heavy, almost at the limit, but it seems like it should hold to a place I move it. That said, I dont ever have to raise it and it holds extremely well in all the drawing positions I use, which are usually pulled forward into my lap, so its not even a big enough deal for me to search online and see if the fix is somewhere in the missing chunk of instructions.If you use a 22hd with the stock stand, you need this in your life. It feels so much more natural, like the way a cintiq is meant to be experienced. I get full 360 degree rotation at any angle I like, and for that reason alone I can't imagine going back to the stock stand.PS. my setup actually has the arm attached to the table on the right side of my desk instead of the back of the desk. It works just fine. I'll upload some pictures as well.

The short answer is yes, yes it does. The Ergotron LX Desk Mount (45-241-026) handles the 34' Ultra Wide 34UM95 with ease. I just completed installing the mount on my desk. You have to adjust the Lift arm quite a bit from the factory setting to get the monitor to float properly, but once you have it dialed in it handles it perfectly fine. This is the weight capacity according to the manufacturer's site:'* Weight Capacity: 5 to 25 lbs (2.3 to 11.3 kg). With monitors greater than 20 lbs (9.1 kg) in weight, the vertical range of motion may be reduced up to 4.5' (11 cm) for a total height range of 8.5' (22 cm)'Wish the Tilt adjustment had a looser adjustment. With the tilt adjuster fully loosened, the adjustment itself still feels pretty stiff.I took off one star because both supplied M4 x 10 VESA mounting screws were too long for the display. The top screws tightened down perfectly fine, but the bottom two screws would bottom out prematurely and not tighten down. I had to use some older Dell mounting screws from my old display.Ergotron, either supply shorter screws with the kit or provide washers..please!!!

This is beautifully made, perfectly explained and the result is an absolute marvel. I am really delighted with this product. I do not like the idea of clamping the unit to a desk so I have installed mine by drilling a hole. The video instructions are great and I urge you to watch that several times before installing. Much better than following the paper instructions. Just one word. If you want the monitor in the fixed horizontal position as I do with a 34 inch Dell, then note the instructions right at the end of the video. Having got it all working perfectly I had to take it all apart in order to fit the tiny locking screw into the Vesa mount. My only criticism but not enough to deny this product 5 stars

Easy switch my 23' touchscreen between monitor and tablet position.Can even kill zombies in tablet position by standing in front of the desk !Our desk is an hardwood executive desk with a glass table top protector and a drawer in the middle. By using a 16' long extension made from a 1'*3' wood furring strip to extend the clamp we were able to sandwich the desk top between 2 pieces of wood board. We used 6 t #8-32 x 1.25' flat-head machine screw to secure the hardware to the strip ( 4 near the stand and 2 at the clamp )The arm stands on a 1'x6'x 20' plank and the force of the clamp is distributed under the drawer support by a 1'x2'x16' piece of wood. Make sure the glass surface on both sides is clean and free of dust/residue/etc... Another point; the arm pole is not centered on the desk but the monitor is.

Just arrived yesterday and got it all set up. First of all, it works wonderfully, better than I hoped it would. Smooth and steady movement and holds my 27 inch BenQ monitor just fine. It is well built and solid. Excellent Product.Now, some things I noticed during install. If you try to manipulate the arms or the tilt adjustment for the monitor before you install it, you won't have any success trying to move the individual parts. However as a system, things move just fine. I did have to almost completely loosen the tilt tension adjustment, but that is probably because my monitor weighs 5 pounds, and not the 20 something that the arm is rated for.Also, I already had a hole in my desk to mount the arm over. I find that to be more secure than clamping it the edge of my desk. But, the hole on my desk is larger than 2 inches specified by Ergotron. Its actually about 3 inches by 5 inches. The base is more than large enough to cover and have enough desk under it to be secure. It is the bottom part of the mount that was too small. The plate on the bottom of the mount would actually fit into the hole in my desk. This arm lives up to every one of their feature claims and then some. Here are some of the standouts :- It's precision engineered and solid- It's sexy looking- It's American made (any company that is hiring people HERE to make innovative and quality products gets a *big salute and a bonus)- It's adjustable to almost any angle you could possibly make use of, and- When you maneuver it to the spot you want - it STAYS- But when you want to quickly move or simply adjust it to another spot, it smoothly swivels there .. and STAYS- And all of this even with heavy monitors - like my Dell 23' touchscreen.For work I put the arm attached to the back of the desk behind my laptop, and the DELL hangs nice and solid above the laptop screen for a perfect dual screen setup. At my height (6'3') that puts the big monitor right at eye height. Perfect for design and development.I push the laptop to the side and swing the arm all the way down to desk height in front of me for DJ'ing with the touchscreen. However the last thing that was holding me up mounting it and finishing the job, was the 'pan' motion left and right (like shaking your head motion left right).All of the other directions of motion have either hex bolts for adjustment, or a screw, or they don't need any adjustment. But the pan left/right was stuck. And I couldn't find any adjustment for that axis of motion at all.When I called the company on the phone somebo...

The instructions aren't the best, but the product is fine. You'll figure out the installation just fine; take your time and hold the parts in your hands to visualize proper assembly. However, do read the instructions and heed the warning about removing certain screws!For mounting ASUS 24-inch LCD monitors, the factory tension settings worked fine. Tighten clamp to desk, install first arm, screw second arm to appropriate holes on monitor (the ASUS had VESA mounting holes) and then slip the two arms together. Attaching power and signal cables to the arms is the final step.I bought two of these and clamped one to my wife's old-style wooden desk and one to my converted drafting table. Both installed without the need for any additional spacers or force-spreading devices (think wood or metal block to expand the footprint of the clamp plate).The desk sits about ¾-inch away from a wall. Moving that heavy wooden desk to reach the knob for tightening clamp was not appealing, so I made a tool from 2-inch schedule 40 PVC pipe. Just trace the clamp fingers onto one end of the pipe and saw out the waste with a hacksaw (about ½-inch deep or so). Space the fingers so they fit snuggly on the clamp, so the tool doesn't slip off while you are reaching in from the bottom middle front-side of the desk. Clamp tightened fine, and all is well. I left the tool in place behind desk, so I could find it, should the need arise to remove or adjust clamp.

I bought this because my computer and game consoles are hooked up to the same monitor and I wanted to get my tate mode on. Needless to say, the face rotates effortlessly in 360 degrees so viewing in portrait position is a breeze.The quality of the build materials is amazing. I went into this purchase blind and really did not expect the unit to be this sturdy. The movement is flawless.Now for what really motivated me to write this review - ease of assembly. I cracked open the box to confirm receipt and condition of the product, but had planned on this being a Saturday morning assembly project. As I read the instructions I saw 3 quick steps and thought there had to be some mistake. Nope! Three steps and 15 minutes later (the only reason it took that long was because I have so many inputs to my monitor and had to sort those out, it had nothing to do with the stand) and I was in business. My favorite part was that it came with knob screws to hold the monitor on the bracket - classy.The reviews for this product are no fluke. I bought this for my second Samsung monitor in my home office. It does exactly what I wanted. I move the monitor depending whether I want it right next to my main monitor or up so I can push my tilting table under it or back so I can watch Slingbox on it while I work. It is very versatile, strong, easy to set up and easy to use; just what I wanted. It is a product that does exactly what is says it does and does it very well.Note: Make sure your monitor has VESA 100/70mm standard mounting hole patterns on the back. Some do and some don't and some require an adapter. Also you can download the Ergotron manuals on their web site. I did and it really helped to understand them before my product arrived. It really sped up installation.

I spent the extra to get a solid arm, and this delivered. Assembly was pretty easy. You really need to watch the video. The hand-model is amazing!Tips:Attach the little M3x6MM screw BEFORE you attach the VESA mount to your monitor.I mounted a 27' monitor that weights 12 pounds and it would not stay at my desired height. I searched the 1 page instructions. There was a small diagram, but it did not say it was how to adjust the spring tension. The screw to adjust the spring is hidden behind the VESA mounting plate at the end of the second 'arm'. The T-shaped wrench (provided) fits into the screw at the end of the spring. After several turns to the right, the problem was solved.

Just got the Ergotron LX Desk Mount LCD Arm and it is a dream.Just like the video at their website, I can tilt my monitor freely as smooth as butter at different angles without using the allen wrench. My Windows 8 Touch monitor is a pleasure to use now (though I am a die hard Apple fan with 4 Macs in the house). In my opinion, the whole point of the LCD arm is to be able to do exatly this, especially with touch screen monitor. Love love the new Ergotron. Also like to mention that I am using the bolt through mount instead of the clamp. I have a 2 inch grommet hole and just use the other, included plate to bolt the base down through the desk hole. I think it looks much better than the clamp to the side of your desk. I hope this helps some one.Stay away from 'Atdec Levitate Desk Mount' LCD Arm as this one requires you to use the allen wrench every time you tilt the monitor. I returned this so fast right after I installed it.

I installed this mount today, it was a bit tricky because of the well written instructions ( the universal complaint) but what really took the longest was trying to evaluate the mounting method. Although the clamp seemed like a viable option but things seem to have a habit of working loose so I decided to drill a 1/4' hole in the desk to get a more secure mount. This turned out to be a very simple task and the drawings in the instruction sheet are very clear. They do provide a wing nut but I didn't like that so I used a 1/4-20 nut with a lock washer plus an additional not to jam the first nut. This may seem a bit insane but I had a vision of a $500.00 monitor crashing to the floor so opting for a more secure mount only made sense to me. The cable management system is not doubt the best one I've used. One reviewer mentioned the cheap cable ties and that they were useless but if they are used correctly they work just fine. He also mentioned using velcro ties and while I'm a big fan of them they actually aren't necessary here. My monitor is 27' and weighs 18.5 lbs and this mounting arm handles it very well. It did take some time to get the tension correct and it's all trial and error. But there isn't any sag even at maximum extension. What I really love about it is I can position the screen to any viewing angle with very little effort and without knockinng thing over. Unlike the photos and videos Ergotron has, as well as others, my desk is based in reality... it collects things at an almost alarming rate, there's doesn't. This was the main reason for buying this product. Anyway if you are in the market for an arm like this and you have the cash for it, I think this is a very good buy but it is not inexpensive compared to others on the market.

I purchased this to use with my Monoprice Drawing Tablet Display (a rebranded Huion, Cintiq alternative). It holds it very securely with enough resistance to hold it in position while drawing without being too difficult to reposition. I've seen these in use at doctor's offices holding laptop stands to carts, so clearly they can hold a decent amount of weight in position. My desk squeezes into a narrow alcove, and I was able to fit the base of this unit on side of the desk that has less than a centimeter of clearance from the wall.The only minor complaints I can make are:One of the tension adjustment bolts was stuck in place. Luckily I was already happy with its position, and it seems like adding a bit of lubricant will allow for adjustment, but it might be worth testing your unit before setting it up in case you have to replace it.The bottom section of the arm has a channel on the bottom for cable management with a plastic cover that snaps in place over your cables. The DVI cable I use for my monitor is a bit thicker than average, and doesn't allow the plastic cover to snap all the way in. It has stayed in place so far, however.There are no detents in the monitor rotation, meaning it doesn't click into 90 degree rotations, so when switching from landscape to portrait and back you're left to eyeball when its level. A minor gripe, but room for improvement.I'm happy to easily transition to using my tablet as a second monitor next to my primary to a low, tilted position for drawing.

I'm a technology industry professional who spends way too many hours in front of my computer screen. So much so as to develop arthritis of the neck in fact for which proper display positioning makes it possible/comfortable to work for many hours each day. I own a number of display mounts and while many others may be functional, the Ergotron mount is my absolutely my favorite, hands down. It is very well made, with no rough or unfinished edges, comprised of high quality materials that ensure smooth movement and adjustment. It includes an integrated spring balance mechanism that assists raising and lowering of the display which makes a huge difference, especially as the display gets bigger. It articulates in many directions and hides the cables in the articulated arms nicely. I replaced one of the cheaper less functional mounts with the Ergotron on a secondary desk after realizing how much better I can move and adjust the display. Don't waste your money elsewhere, this is the real deal.

Purchased a set of two of the LX Desk Mount LCD arms for my two Dell U2415 monitors that I keep in portrait orientation. Installation was easy (although instructions are more pictorial than prose) and all parts are included for edge mount or grommet mount installs. The arms are high quality and the default settings for spring tension worked perfectly for my monitors. They do not sink down or raise up unless i want them to. The arms glide seamlessly and smoothly. My only issue is that the tilt setting is quite tight even on the 'loosest' setting, but that is minor. Yes they are expensive, but worth it.

I have a pretty elaborate multi-screen (currently 5) setup and I've been through my share of VESA mounts. I've always been trying to get by with the cheapest possible mounts, opting instead to spend extra money on the monitors themselves. I recently replaced 2 aging 19' monitors with two 24' HD monitors and decided to splurge on really expensive mounts for them. So I bought two Ergontron LX Desk Mount arms.I cannot say it enough: These are way more than twice as good as the articulated mounts half their price. They are simple to install, rock solid, and adjustable in pretty much all possible dimensions from height to rotation to tension. Zero installation headaches (far from the case with many other mounts), and they are super adjustable. As a programmer, I usually run 24' monitors vertically for text editing. However, there are times when I want to run them horizontally too. With most cheap arms you're locked into one or the other short of getting out your screwdriver. With these mounts, you can adjust position and orientation on the fly. I didn't think that would be a big deal, I didn't think I'd actually ever do it. Now that the option is there, though, I do it all the time. It's incredibly useful to be able to adjust, on the fly, to a monitor configuration that suits whatever I'm currently doing.The built in cable management is well thought out too, making sure the cables are always ready if you extend the mount all the way out while also hiding them away from being obtrusive.This mount is expensive. And this mount is awesome. If you can talk yourself into the price, you'll never regret it.

I also have one of those and as far as I can tell it is EXACTLY the same as this arm, but black, and with jestik branding.Am using this arm with a 24' touch screen monitor, though it would hold larger.[Update 25 April 2017]Just bought another one of these to hold my 34' Dell 3417 Ultra-wide.
