This package includes a Garrett AT Gold Waterproof Metal Detector with 5x8 DD Search Coil, Mastersound Headphones, Garrett ProPointer AT Pinpointer and AA Batteries
AT Gold metal detector was designed to find tiny gold nuggets in the most challenging prospecting environments, including shallow fresh water hunting.
The AT Gold operates at a high frequency optimized for gold prospecting and includes a True All Metal Mode. The All Metal Mode is preferred for prospecting because it provides the greatest possible depth and sensitivity. It also provides a continuous audio response to allow the operator to hear the subtle detection signals produced by faint targets
The AT Gold is a Motion All Metal detector, meaning that slight motion of the search coil is required to maintain detection, although static detection of targets can be achieved while in Pinpoint mode. The AT Gold includes manual and automatic Ground Balance plus an exclusive Ground Balance Window feature to optimize the detector’s performance in highly mineralized ground, where gold is most often found. This detector is also waterproof to a maximum depth of 10 feet (3 meters) for searching in freshwater lakes and streams.
In addition to its True All Metal Mode, the AT Gold includes two Discrimination Modes, making it a versatile coin and relic hunting machine. When selecting either the DISC 1 or DISC 2 mode, the operator gains more Tone ID information from targets in addition to the ability to discriminate unwanted trash targets (e.g. nails, foil, pull tabs).
I had purchased one of these several years ago. I purchased the 22 inch ball bearing track and the platform. I like being able to switch the mouse from left to right to avoid repetitive stress injury. The design hasnt changed much at all. it is sturdy (and heavy). Compared to the old one the the front to back track moves smoothly, but raising/lowering the tray takes more force than it should. and rotation takes way too much force. I don't use this feature, but if i did it would be a deal-breaker. Easy removal of the wrist support is helpful as I have an ergonomic keyboard with an integrated wrist support.
I'm a web application programmer and a Kinesis user for more than 10 years. I'm now working at home and my Kinesis Classic is still at my locked down office. After three months working on a regular keyboard my wrist RSI was flaring up for the first time in years. So, a brand new Advantage KB600 for working at home.
I had accustomed myself to the contoured KB years ago and it's great having my old favorite back again. I had actually worn out several keys on the old mode 133 (with the ps/2 adapter only) at about the 8 year mark and Kinesis refurbished it at a reasonable cost. It's still working great. These things are work horses, it may be the last keyboard you will ever need. Worth every penny.
very solid with no wobble. love that its modular so I can mix parts from other ones of the series to expand it.
Five stars to Jestik for business, four stars for the keyboard.
I have liked the keyboard so far. This is my first ergonomic and mechanical keyboard, so I am not really sure what to expect.
It has been two weeks since I am using this keyboard, so still have to get used to it a bit.
some keys in thumb clusters are a bit hard to reach, and so are some other keys too.
The build-quality and overall keyboard functionality are very good. will hopefully update my review later.
Fast response. Nice product
